Today in class we had a discussion about facebook and how effective it is as a tool to keep in touch with people. I personally love facebook I think it is a great way to show people how you are doing and share moments of your life with them. For me i definetly do not have enough time in the day to call every one of my friends and let them know what im doing, thats where the status column in facebook comes in so handy. I can post pictures and look at pictures of my friends to see how they are doing and how there lives are changing.
In class one of the downfalls of facebook thatwas talked about was the privacy factor. When iproceed to post something on facebook i always tell myself before i post it that everybody who has internet acess is going to be able to see this. Dont post things you wouldnt want your boss or mother to see and you should be good. I check facebook at least once a day to see what my friends are up too.
Finally I think Facebook and myspace and things like that are a great thing as long as they are not abused.
